A Veteran of The United States Air Force, he enjoyed Nascar, loved all genres of music, woodworking, fishing, cuddling with his fur babies, sitting on the screened porch with a hot cup of coffee and watching old westerns. He never met a stranger. A great conversationalist, he could talk your ears off about any and everything. He cherished his conversations with old friends as they took a journey down memory lane. His greatest joy in life was his family. He loved his girls unconditionally. He always had the perfect words for any occasion. A random note or sweet text that would brighten your day. He had a heart of gold. And loved BIG! He never let a moment pass that he didn’t express that love. He was hopelessly devoted to his beautiful wife, his “Honey”, Rosie Mae. One mention of Rosie, and those eyes would twinkle. He was a proud Daddy, Honey, Papa, Brother and Uncle and will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
William is survived by his loving Wife, Rosa Mae Brigman of 62 years; three Daughters, Donna Pergerson (Larry), Pamela Hagerty (Brian) and Jackie Blevin (Jim); two beautiful Granddaughters, Emily Swing and Rachel Horton (Brandon); one Great Grandson William Horton, two Great Grandsons on the way, his sister Carolyn Parrish (Ricky) and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Please share your fond memories with the family at www.leefhandcrematory.com. And in honor of William, play your favorite song, play it loud and tell your family and friends how much you love them. Love BIG just like he did.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.leefhandcrematory.com for the Brigman family.
