Sharon graduated from Limestone College with a BA in Elementary Education and became an educator teaching both 1st and 2nd grades for over 30 years. Most of her career was spent teaching at North Myrtle Beach Primary School.
A wonderful homemaker, Sharon loved spending time with her family and close friends, welcoming them always into her warm and loving home. Sharon loved her church, Lakeside Baptist Church and was a devoted member and advocate for over 50 years.
Along with her two children, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, Sharon leaves behind thousands of students she taught and inspired, many of which went on to become educators themselves because of her mentoring.

“Like a rare gem found in the depths of the earth you are one of those jewels of whom there is a dearth. Like a prized possession always kept safe and secure your teachings and lessons will be in our hearts for sure.”
