Gary Clay Childress Sr. age 82, of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023. Born on September 7, 1940 in Mooresville, North Carolina he was the son of the late Clay and Edna Childress.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Shelbie A. Childress; daughter, Cathy Patrick; brother, Ivan Childress and sister, Katie Cates. Gary was preceded in death by his son Gary Childress Jr. along with his grandson Eddie.
