Dorothy Lawrence

Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, and living her entire adult life in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Locea Green Sparks. Dorothy was the loving and dedicated wife for 69 years to the late Wilford H. Lawrence, who passed February 10, 2020.

Mrs. Lawrence was an active and dedicated member of Lansdowne United Methodist Church for many decades. She retired in 1988 following a lengthy career as an Administrative Assistant with A.G. Parrott Company.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law Matthew and Beth Lawrence, William “Rick” and Colette Lawrence; three granddaughters; two grandsons; and five great-granddaughters. She is also survived by two brothers, Donald Sparks and Larry Sparks.

A memorial service in Maryland will be scheduled at a future date to be determined.
