Charles W. Gasque, age 73, of Tabor City, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, December 8, 2023. Born on May 20, 1950 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, he was a son of the late J.B. and Clara Gasque.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Shirley Gasque; daughters, Tammy Fields, Pamela Johnson (Bobby Spurgeon); son, Chuck Gasque (Monica); grandchildren, Jessy Fields, Taylor Fields, Cole Gasque, Camden Gasque; six great-grandchildren; along with two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.
An avid outdoorsman, Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was extremely talented at making handmade bird houses.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Buck Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 11483 SC-905, Longs, SC 29568. The Gasque family will receive friends after the service.
