Roseann Marie Gray

Roseann was preceded in passing by her husband of 51 years, Edwin Gray (2000), along with her parents John and Mary Paprocki (nee Gorski), her brothers, John and Joe, her sisters, Marian and Genevieve, and in-laws Veronica, Lillian, Bruno and Joe.

Roseann, was the Matriarch of the Gray family, was loving mother of David of Lisle, Gary (Wendy) of Durand, Gail (Rick) of Glen Ellyn, Michael (Mary Kay) of Sisters, OR, Mary (Michael) of Downers Grove, and Karen (Brad) of Glen Ellyn. Cherished grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 11, aunt, great-aunt, great-great aunt, a fond cousin and beloved friend of many.

Roseann graduated from Providence St. Mel High School and DePaul University in Chicago. She worked as an administrative assistant at Western Electric in Cicero, Wausau Insurance in Oak Park and then Rexnord in Downers Grove. She was a lifelong enthusiastic sports fan of the Chicago Blackhawks, White Sox, Cubs, Bulls and Bears. She enjoyed exercising and swimming at the Seven Bridges Fitness Center and Woodridge Athletic Recreational Center, participating in senior field trips through the Lisle Park District, and visiting the Morton Arboretum in Lisle and Lilacia Park in Lombard. She loved doing word search puzzles, playing cards and spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, from 10:00-11:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 820 Division St, Lisle, IL 60532, immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 1S510 Winfield Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189, Wheaton, IL.
