June Gertrude Shilka

June was loved by many friends and family members, and dearly so by her husband of 60 years, the late Ray Shilka and her daughter the late Judy Shilka. She is survived by her son Wayne (Roxane), daughter Jackie (Bob) Chambers and her three grandchildren, Chelsea Chambers, and Catherine and Edward Shilka.

With the vitality, creativity, and sense of humor that was her quiddity, she brought joy to so many people including the hundreds of students whose lives she touched as an elementary school teacher for more than twenty years in the Roselle Public School system.

June, Mom and Grandma will be missed terribly.

A visitation will be held Sunday December 19, 2021 from 2:00PM - 6:00PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Lisle, Il. Entombment will be held at the Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, Ft. Myers Florida.
