Donna L. McDaniel

BRUNSWICK: Donna Lee McDaniel, 66, of Bowdoin passed away Saturday November 26, 2016 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cohasset, MA on March 10, 1950 a daughter of the late Cora R. Huntington. She grew up in the Weymouth area and attended local schools there.

On April 11, 1969 she married Jerry McDaniel in Weymouth, MA and they started a family together. After moving to different states while her husband was in the military, they finally settled in Bowdoin, ME in 1977. While in Maine, Donna worked area businesses such as Etonic Shoe, Fancy Stitchers, Stuart’s Dept. Store and LL Bean. She loved bowling with her husband, going camping, decorating for all of the holidays, and playing cribbage as well as many computer games.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Jerry McDaniel of Bowdoin, her children; Jake McDaniel and his wife Tammy of Lisbon Falls and Lisa Nile and her husband Dan of Bowdoinham. She also leaves behind two siblings; Suzanne Vorhis of Canyon Lake, TX and Gregory Godfrey of Alabama as well as her four grandchildren; Trevor and Katelyn McDaniel and Devin and Audrey Nile and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters; Jennifer and Nancy and two siblings; Darlene Menard and James Huntington.

Visitation will take place at Crosman Funeral Home Friday December 2, 2016 from 4-7pm. A Celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Saturday December 3, 2016 at the MTM Center 18 School St. Lisbon Falls, ME from 5-8pm.
