Mr. Bailey was a retired Essex County Detective. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley Davidson and had a special love for antique cars. He also liked to attend church,holiday parades and loved the sounds of bagpipes. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends, and his dog Kali. He as well enjoyed vacationing at OBX.
Robert was the beloved husband for 30 years of Laura (Ruszczyk) Bailey, devoted father of Pati Bailey, Emily Bailey and Robert Bailey, Jr. Loving brother of Carol Casperino and her husband Joey. He is predeceased by his sister Pati Bailey and his brother George Thomas Bailey.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral on Friday, December 23, 2022, directly at St. Helen Parish, 1600 Rahway Ave, Westfield, NJ at 10:00 am.
