Blanca Leda Munoz

Blanca Leda Munoz affectionately known as Leda passed away on June 8, 2024 at her home in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Born to Julio and Blanca Bunay on February 20, 1934 in Guayaquil, Ecuador she was dearly loved by all her family.

Leda was a beloved wife to Luis, mother to Jackie and Glenda, mother -in -law to Joe and grandmother to Matthew and Melissa and sister to Italia, Alfredo, Antonio, Edmundo and Gonzalo. On November 4,1961 she married her beloved Luis Munoz in a lovely ceremony

at their family church in New York City marking the beginning of their shared life filled with love and devotion.

After graduating college in Guayaquil she worked as a bookkeeper. She met her future husband at a dance and then fell in love. Leda came to the United States in 1961 to start her new life as a wife dedicating her life to her family as a homemaker. She was a nurturing and loving wife to her husband, mother and grandmother to Matthew and Melissa who where her heart and soul. They will carry her legacy of humor, kindness, love and joy.

She loved gardening, travelling and shopping. She was a devoted member of her church

always helping those in need. Her memory will be kept alive by her children, son in-law, and grandchildren.

A visitation for Blanca will be held Monday, June 17, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral mass will take place Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Genevieve's Church, 200 Monmouth Rd, Elizabeth, NJ 07208. A private cremation will follow.
