Robert Lee Ward, 90, of Lincoln, passed away December 10, 2021. He was born July 25, 1931, to Homer and Mabel Ward. Robert served as a Marine during the Korean War, and returned to Lincoln to work, and eventually retired from the Goodyear Plant. He and his wife later moved to Ceresco, NE, where they resided for 44 years.
Many weekends and vacations were spent fishing in Canada, Nebraska, and Kansas.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Bernita. He is survived by his daughter, Sandi Frauen; son, Mike Ward; granddaughter, Alicia and husband Nick Davis, and great-granddaughters, Juliette, Caitlin, and Kenadae.
A Graveside Service for Robert will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 6700 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
