Nancy J. Phillips, 82. of Waverly, NE, passed away December 14, 2023. She was born May 2, 1941 to Jim and Helen Miller. Married Gene A. Phillips on December 10, 1960. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother who will be missed more than words can say. Nancy was an original member of the East Lincoln Christian Church for over 50 years. She served as a church Deaconess, past president of CWF and taught bible school. Nancy was a member of the Red Hat Society and Rebels Auto Club. Nancy worked at the Lincoln Telephone Company and retired from Sutherland Lumber.
Survived by her husband of 63 years Gene; daughters, Liz Lindahl of Omaha, Tammi Buel (Jay) of Eagle and Jodi Ledell (Matt) of Topeka, KS. Grandchildren, Jessica Beisner (Jeff) Josh Smith (Kelsey), Cody Smith, Alyssa Lindahl, Scott Lindahl (Rhonda), Madison Ledell and Drew Ledell. Great Grandchildren, Landon Beisner, Brayden Beisner, Jaxon Smith, Quentin Lindahl, Madison Lindahl, Cameron Lindahl. Sister, Doni (Rick) Boyd, Brother-in-law, Gary L. Nielsen. Preceded in death by parents, sister Marilyn Nielsen, granddaughter, Nicole Smith Frerichs.
