Mary Eloise Ramsey

Mary graduated from Bethany High School in Lincoln in 1939. Following graduation, she attended college and became a dental hygienist. She spent the remainder of her career working office jobs at Miller and Paine and retiring from Coca-Cola. Even in retirement, she continued working at United Rentals and Wendy's. She also worked as a secretary at Bethany Christian Church. Mary loved square dancing and traveling, especially to Oregon where her sister lived. She could whip up delicious homemade goods like pies, peanut brittle and fudge, along with a hearty meal of chicken and noodles. Mary will be remembered for being straight forward - she exuded class & sass!

She is survived by her daughter Joyce Baxter, granddaughters, Kelly (John) Chado, Samantha (David) Snyder, Brandy Bruce, Kaitlin Baxter; grandsons, Dustin Baxter, Ted Rohr, Scott; five great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Winona Supernaw Fowler; brother-in-law, Glen Fowler; two daughters, Sharon and Debra; one grandchild, Denise; one great-great-grandchild, Mathais; husband, Wilbur Ramsey; cherished cat, Berry; along with many nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

A graveside service will take place at Fairview Cemetery on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM, followed by a luncheon at Bethany Christian Church at 1645 North Cotner Blvd, Lincoln, Nebraska.
