Marie Marcella Bullock (Akin), age 47, passed away Tuesday June 22nd, 2021. Marie was born in Olathe, Kansas on November 1st, 1973, to Russell Akin and Vickie Minzel. Marie was a Registered Nurse working at the Crisis Center in Lincoln, Nebraska and was continuing her education to complete her post-master’s to practice as a nurse practitioner. Marie enjoyed spending time with her fiancée and family, especially traveling and going on vacations and making lasting memories with her friends. Marie brightened every room she entered, and her smile was infectious, she was an inspirational woman. Marie gave life to 4 children, that were her whole world and was a grandma to 7 beautiful grandchildren. Marie was loved dearly and will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother Vickie Minzel; Brothers Russell Akin, Randy Minzel and Jake Minzel; Sister Amanda Howe; Fiancée Ronzell Coleman; Daughters Tasha Pallard, Koren Soper and SaHarra Bullock; Sons Austin Soper and his wife Nicole Soper, Tarron Bullock; Grandchildren Kloe, Brielle, Ivy, Jaxson, Grayson, Hayden and Brecken; Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 29, 2021, from 5:00-7:00pm, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. 6800 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at 2:00pm, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. A Reception will follow the service, downstairs in the Funeral Home.
