Lynn Janet Buchanan, 73, of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, October 4th, 2022. Born December 18th, 1948, to Harry and Reah Churchill in York County. Married Carl Buchanan on September 30th, 1967. Lynn graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her master's degree. Lynn found her calling helping others through her work as a counselor, helping those with drug and alcohol abuse, addiction, and mental health issues. Lynn was an active member with St. Marks United Methodist Church, helping out with the youth group and charitable efforts.
She was survived by her husband, Carl; her daughters, Lynette Willett and Melissa Pelster (Dene). Lynn had six grandchildren, DJ, Ashton, and Braydon Willett, and Olivia, Reagan, and Brenna Anderson.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bruce Churchill, and sisters, Carol Wilson and Sharon Jones.
A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held Friday, October 14th at 10:00am at St. Marks United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd., Lincoln, NE. lincolnfh.com
