It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry Edward Gardner Jr., a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Larry suddenly passed away at home at the age of 32 years old on November 11, 2024.
Born on October 20, 1992 in Lincoln, Nebraska, Larry grew up in Lincoln and McCook, NE. Larry had a passion for camping, fishing, and video games, along with making people laugh.
Larry was currently employed at Cleaver-Brooks.
Larry is survived by his wife, Lay Paw; parents, Larry Sr. and Jackie Gardner, Shelly Foster; sister, Jessica Gardner and brothers, Jackie and Alex Gardner; nephews, Joseph Landry and Carlin Gardner. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William Allerheiligen, Carol Allerheiligen, Virginia Schlichting and Edmond Foster; step-father, Benny Foster; aunt, Linda Golightly; and half-sister, Amanda Hackstadt.
The family invites you to a celebration of life for Larry that will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512.
Serving as pallbearers are Joseph Landry, Alexander Gardner, Derek Leach, Eh Moo, Enku Moo Shee and Jilbert Shee.
