Kobe Steven Wilson was born on November 27, 2001 in Lincoln, Nebraska and passed away on August 3, 2019. He is survived by his mother, Jamie Wilson (Laird); father, Thomas Wilson and brother, Kai Wilson.
Kobe attended Sheridan Elementary School where he was the tallest kid on the playground; Irving Middle School where he sang and played the sax & basketball; and Southeast High School where he ran hurdles and ate two school lunches every day.
Kobe worked at Doris Bair Softball Complex and would eat ANYTHING and EVERYTHING from the concession stand. He enjoyed creating and participating in challenges with his co-workers who were rumored to have nasty consequences for the loser.
Kobe spent time hanging out with friends in Elijah’s basement. His friends described him as a prankster with a great sense of humor. They liked his individual sense of style and music, laid back personality, and thought he was a great friend.
Kobe loved watching Netflix with his mom, gaming with Kai, and eating his dad’s pasta; Kobe was deeply loved.
Jamie and Thomas would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love they have shown to their family. The support and donations have been unbelievably generous and deeply appreciated.
