Kandy was born February 18, 1960 in Lincoln, NE. Kandy resided in Clatonia, NE for the past 33 years. Kandy’s first love was her family. Her grandchildren were one of her greatest joys. Kandy also had a great love for her dog, Chrissy. She enjoyed knitting, reading and baking in her spare time.
Kandy leaves behind her son, Jason Geerdes and wife Sarah; Grandchildren Kody and Kole Geerdes; brother, Randy Angus and wife Theresa: sister Sandy Yoakum; niece Lisa Stroup and husband Tracy; niece Staci Wiederstein and husband Ryan; great-niece Tanner and great-nephew Tristan; great-nephew Carl Deane; and many close friends.
Kandy was preceded in death by her parents, Carol and Dean Fox, and Max and Janie Angus.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 at 3:00 pm at United Methodist Church in Wilber, NE. Memorial donations may be made to Nebraska Humane Society in Kandy’s name.
