She graduated from College View Academy and then continued education at Doane University as a paralegal. Kali worked for the family cleaning business and started working for Baylor Law as a runner. After receiving her degree from Doane she became a paralegal for them and was training new employees as of recently. Kali enjoyed playing the violin. At the age of 5 she started playing and by her early teens she was playing duets at weddings with her siblings. Kali's love of music did not stop with the violin, she traveled to see Herman's Hermits, David Cassidy and loved watching The Partridge Family. She would often be found looking through old vinyls at the record store. In 2023 she was blessed with the greatest gift Zavien who turned one on February 7.
Preceded in death by Grandpa Harry. Survived by her parents Heidi Jensen and Wesley Trotter; siblings Quentin, Iriana, Lane, Ian Trotter; Son Zavien Omar; Fiance Fablin Omar; Grandparents Bud and Ruth Trotter and Joyce Jensen; Many other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
A funeral service for Kalista will be held Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM at College View Church, 4801 Prescott Ave, Lincoln, Nebraska 68506.
Kalista will be laid to rest in College View Cemetery , 6900 Pioneers Blvd , Lincoln, Nebraska.
