Judith Ann Vogel, 72, died on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in Lincoln, NE. She was born January 12, 1945 in Lincoln to Dorothy H. and Walter J. Vogel. Judith graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School, later earning a bachelor and master degree in Education from the University of Nebraska and a masters degree in Special Education from Hunter College. She had a very fulfilling career in education working for Lincoln Public Schools for 15 years, and before that teaching special education in New York City public schools for 12 years. She was awarded the Brooklyn Teacher of the Year for Exceptional Children, as well as Pi Lambda Theta (education society). She also served in the National Guard as a Chaplin Assistant. Her and her first husband, Michael C. Glenn had 4 children. She was beloved by her family, students and co-workers and was passionate about her 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Survived by: Brother Steven Vogel; Son, Mathew Glenn; Daughters, Lori Brinner, Son In-law Tim, Gina Petersen and Son in-law Andy; Grandchildren: Harrison Brinner, Grant Brinner, Henry Brinner, Chloe Glenn, Josh Glenn, Jake Petersen, Callie Petersen, Will Petersen.
