Gail Ann Liming

Gail Ann Liming, 73, of Lincoln Nebraska, passed away December 18th, 2021. Born January 3rd, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, to parents, Otto & Esther (Shirk) Neubauer. She was an author, mother, grandmother, & friend to everyone. She worked many jobs over the years, the last 20 years were spent at Love Library as a Librarian. She published many books & was well known as a writer of many types of genres. Her favorite books she published; Redeemed Siege With The Sea & Diverse Lives. She loved listening to Christian music. Her Favorite songs were; I Love You Lord by Maranatha, & Amazing Grace by Pentatonix. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren. She was always there for friends in need. She was the most selfless, loving, caring, and beautiful mother, we were so blessed. She lost her battle to pancreatic cancer, however conquered the victory to heaven. She was so loved by all who were graced with her presence. Gail expressed gratitude and thankfulness for her medical team.

Survivors: Bridget (daughter) married to Matthew Brodecky; Troy (son) & Angie; Daniel (son); Patricia, Diane (sisters), Dennis (brother); 10 grandchildren; Brittany married to Marty Hogan, Tyler & Kelli, Hannah & Charlie, Ellie, Samuel, Aislynne, Maddie, Niko, Adain, Troy & Angie’s baby boy due March 2022; & (Zeus her best friend her dog who provided her comfort & peace throughout her life’s journey); Great Grandmother to Brittany & Marty’s baby due May, 2022.

Preceded in death by both parents; Matthew (son); Riley (grandson).

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021, 11:00-12:30PM, at Lincoln Square Senior Apartments Basement. 841 S. 47th St, Lincoln, NE. The family invites you to join them for a light reception following the service. Private family interment to be held at a later date.
