Frank F. Schaffer Jr. , 90, died Dec. 30, 2014. Visitation Friday, Jan. 2 , 7:00-8:00 pm, Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services Saturday Jan. 3, 11:30, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, lunch served following. Frank was born November 8, 1924, in Hartington Ne., to Frank and Elizabeth Schaffer . He married Juna Schager Oct. 14, 1946, in Quincy, Ill. They resided in Hartington, until moving to Lincoln in 1953. They had three boys. He served proudly in the U.S. Army from 1943-1946. He worked life long for electric companies, including REA, Consumers Public Power, and Lincoln Electric System as a lineman, foreman, and inspector. He enjoyed working on all things mechanical, his boys, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and grand-dog sitting. Survivors include his sons, Dave Schaffer and wife, Marilyn, Lincoln; Doug Schaffer and wife, Sharon, Lincoln; Don Schaffer, Lincoln; grandchildren, Carrie Schaffer, Aurora, Colo.; Brett Schaffer and wife, Jenny, Lincoln; Audrey Jackson and husband, Tyler, Lincoln; Kellen Toulouse and husband, Scott, Estes Park, Colo.; great-grandchildren, Nadia White, Aurora, Colo.; Joseph Schaffer, Henry Schaffer and Peter Schaffer, all of Lincoln; Cooper Jackson and Sophia Jackson both of Lincoln; Sister-in-law Evie Schager, Orland, Calif.; Sister-in-law Jean Ciccione, River Grove, Ill.; Sister-in-law Margo Schager, Grand Island; and life-long friend, Chris Polcyn, Niles Ill. He was preceded in death by his wife Juna Schaffer, and parents Frank and Elizabeth Schaffer . In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to American Heart Association and Capital Humane Society of Lincoln., Ne.
