Esther “Essie” Wilhelm Gillispie, 94, was born March 1, 1923 to the late Edward Wilhelm and Marie Diehl Wilhelm. Esther passed peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2017. She is predeceased by her husband Paul Gillispie and her son Paul Gillispie Jr. as well as her 8 siblings. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Dianna and John Hallberg, her grandson and his wife Jake and Ann Hallberg and great-grandson Ryan Hallberg, 4 sister-in-laws and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Meet at gate 2 at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Esther’s name to the charity of your choice.
