Donna Joan Sprouse, 81, passed away on January 9, 2016. Joan was born on August 1, 1934, in Minden, Nebraska to Myner and Esther (Morris) Thomsen. She worked for many years at LT&T. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Joan is survived by her husband of 57 years, Paul; children, Tyler (Bev), Allison (Wade) Potter, Andy, all of Lincoln; grandchildren Josh Sprouse, Zech Ihde, Carl Potter, Hannah Potter, Jessica (Tyler) Eberle, Matt Sprouse, Jay Sprouse, Tanner Sprouse; five great-grandchildren, all of Lincoln and sister Wilma (Arvard) Neal of Kearney. Her parents Myner and Esther preceded Joan in death. Visitation: 9 am Wednesday, January 13 one hour prior to funeral service with family present, Funeral Service: 10 am, Wed, Jan 13 at New Hope United Methodist Church, 1205 N. 45th, Lincoln followed by burial at Lincoln Memorial Park.
