Debra Ann Jackson was born June 27th, 1955 in Clarksdale, MS. She had 6 brothers and 5 sisters in total from her parents. She had 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls and 6 grandchildren, 2 boys and 4 girls and she also had 1 great-grandchild, a boy.
Debra was very active in her church ministries from a very young age. She also raised her children in the church. She lived her life going to work at the U.S. Postal Service for the past 38 years, as well as spending as much time with her family and her church. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping and going to Nebraska Furniture Mart, just to see what new furniture designs were out at the time.
Outside of work and church, Debra enjoyed watching her tv shows, especially the Game Show Network.
She loved to smile and laugh. She loved speaking with her children, grandchildren and her family members, such as her siblings, nephews and nieces, as well as her aunts and cousins.
Debra was heavy in her faith in God and spoke about it to all who would listen. She enjoyed serving the Lord and she was also a great teacher of faith and modeled her life living in the word of God. She was someone that you could come to for advice and she enjoyed helping out others in their time of need.
She was a selfless person and was a natural born leader. She was a warrior who did not let anything get in the way of her goals as well as not letting anything bring her down. She strived to be an example to all those around her with the way she lived her life and raised her children.
Debra was the epitome of grace, elegance, poise, beauty, positivity, faith, charity, and mindset. She would want to be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and most of all, a faithful servant to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
