He married Marlene Williams in June 1955 & had two daughters, Pam & Janette. Cliff married Millie Gilliand in July 1978. He worked in business/finance as well as was a member of the Nebraska National Guard; both Reserves & Full Time for over 42 years. He also was Event Staff for the University of Nebraska for over 20 years.
Cliff was an active member of United Lutheran Church of Lincoln and a member of the first confirmation class at the church’s present location.
He enjoyed golf, cards, bowling, pitching fast pitch softball, having garage sales, working in the yard, and being part of Millie’s reception hall The Falls He collected coins and carnival glass, attending many auctions, which contributed to his garage sale inventory. Cliff enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels feast on the leftover cake from Millie’s wedding cake business.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wives Marlene and Millie, daughter Pam. He is survived by daughter Janette (Kevin) Roesler, brothers Aubrey (Sandy) Becker, Neal (Marilyn) Becker, stepson Doug (Kathy) Gilliland, stepdaughter Judy Haverkamp, grandchildren Bryan Gilliland, Brenda Gilliland, Derek (Andrea) Quick, Rocky (Nikole) Quick, Amanda (Brian) Albrecht; ten great grandchildren as well as many cousins and extended family
Visitation for Cliff will be Thursday, November 4, 2021 5:00-7:00 pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (6800 South 14th St. Lincoln). Masks are required. Services will be Friday, November 5, 2021 11:00 am at United Lutheran Church (5945 Fremont Street Lincoln). Masks are required. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
