Betty "June" Collamore, age 94, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021. June was born October 9, 1926 in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from Omaha School for the Deaf in 1948. June married Don L. Collamore on January 1, 1949. She worked for the Outboard Marine (formerly) known as "Cushman" from the 1950's to 1989.
June enjoyed sewing, cooking, helping people, bowling and traveling. She was a member of the Nebraska Hillbillies Camping Club; Deaf Club and Women's Bridge Club. June loved Elvis Presley and the Husker Football.
Preceded in death her husband Don L. Collamore; her parents; brother and sisters; granddaughter Patricia McCullough and her 2 great grandchildren,
Survived by her son Ronald L Collamore; daughter-in-law Janice M. Collamore; 8 step grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren 7 great-grand grandchildren and many nieces and Nephews and friends.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 am at Lincoln Memorial Park and Cemetery, 6700 South 14th Street, Lincoln, NE. Family and friends will meet at gate 2 prior to the service. Memorials can be made to the family. lincolnfh.com
