

She is preceded in death by her parents, Orion and Mary Ethel Norton, and her siblings; Elsie Knight, Helen Shrum, Jean Blevins, Cathy Sebo, Paula Novo, Frank Norton, Audie Norton, and Tommy Norton.
Nora had a deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren, and cherished the moments spent catering to them. She and her husband built a home together in Coloma, where they shared many happy memories. Nora was an avid traveler, enjoying cruises and excursions with family and friends. She had a special fondness for California poppies and delighted in tending to the roses in her backyard. In her free time, she loved playing cards and bocce ball with her friends in Sun City, Lincoln.
Among her greatest accomplishments were being married to her beloved husband Jerry for 72 years and raising four wonderful children. She found immense joy in watching her family grow, particularly her ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who brought her endless happiness.
Nora is survived by her husband of 72 years, Jerry Colombo, and their children; Harry (Barbara) Colombo, Jack (Rhonda) Colombo, Karen (Chris) Floriano, and Judy (Raymond) Privette, as well as her brother Rudy Norton of Arizona. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren; Jason (Danielle) Colombo, Amanda (Mark) Reyes, Kyle (Kate) Privette, Tyler (Anna) Privette, Savannah (Rashad) Floriano, Cody Colombo, Kevin (Karley) Colombo, Nina Colombo, and Gabby Colombo. Her great-grandchildren, who brought her so much joy, include Olivia, Austin, Catalina, Charlie, Rashad Jr., Josiah, Cash, Hayes, Hux, and Jovie.
A graveside service will be held at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery on Thursday, April 3rd, at 11:30 AM.
