Cheryl A. Gilbert, age 73, of Antelope, California passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
Cheryl was born on October 30, 1948 in New Britain, Connecticut to Charles Otto Gilbert and La Verne Annette Doty. She is survived by her daughter Lorie Henlin.
Cheryl worked many years as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, both in Connecticut, Florida, and California, retiring a few years ago from Kaiser Permanente. She was small but fierce in her support of patients and co-workers.
Her training gave her an edge when speaking to people both in and outside of work. In chatting with people they would share things that perhaps they didn’t share with others. She was just that curious and caring.
