Lenore M Stemen

She was born in Lima on January 24, 1923, to Guy Zephy & Flora (Tabler) Rudy, who preceded her in death. She later married Theodore Stemen, who preceded her in death on November 9, 1990. She was a member of the local V.F.W. # 1275 & the American Legion Post 96. Lenore enjoyed mowing and gardening, especially when it came to tending to her roses. She also loved to play cards, and enjoyed playing bingo so much; she did it seven days a week.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie (James) Park, of Ada, her four grandchildren, Bob (Susan) Park, of Spencerville, Jamie (Rhonda) Park, of Ada, Gary “George” (Stacey) Park, of Ada, and Lisa Dysert, of Ada, twelve great grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her siblings Florence Montgomery, Nellie Church, Opal Montague, Everett Rudy, Otto Rudy, and Orville Rudy.

A Celebration of Life will be held 12 P.M, on Monday August 11, 2014, at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, 506 N. Cable Rd., with Pastor Ray Hadley officiating. Visitation will be from 2-6 P.M. on Sunday August 10, also at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
