Kyle Reeves and Daryl (Andrew) Thompson grew up together. They attended High School together. They played football together at Parkview High School.  Andrew was like one of my sons if they were not at his grandmas in Lilburn they were at my house. They loved the great outdoors Hunting, Fishing and 4-wheeling.  Great memories that we will always cherish.

Andrew was a valued employee of the company., he was a Grounds man.  Our company is a Logging, Hauling and Clearing Company. The guys worked so hard together putting in 10 to 12 hours each weekday. At the end of the day, they were all Great friends.

So where do I start this is not easy I would have never thought I would be back here saying rest easy to you I know you are up in heaven with all our fam and friends we have lost over the years and watching over us with them we are gonna miss you bunches and I love you bro.

Thankful to have this video.  Andrew loved large,  I haven’t met anyone who didn’t love him from the moment they met him. His love for family and life was so refreshing to me.  He’s a kid in a grown man’s body.  He’s very special.

Andrew I loved you like a brother since the day i met you. You will ALWAYS be the best man to ever walk into Iman's life and for that I will forever be thankful. I know we had our differences and we argued like siblings would bc I instantly felt that bond with you. I will miss the way you would walk in and cheer up a room with some goofy joke or comment. How you would come in on weekend mornings with breakfast for everyone and an ice cold coke for me bc I didn't drink coffee 😆 You were an AMAZING father for not only Emmy but the boys as well, I will make sure she is ALWAYS reminded of how amazing her daddy is. I'm thankful we have a small piece of you in her, she has your eyes so we can all look at her and remember you and how much happiness and joy you always had in your eyes. I caint believe you're gone, we will always think of you as the invincible man, nothing could stop you. You have no idea how much joy you have brought into all our lives, you will truly be missed. You are one of a kind and we're all grateful for having the chance to know you.

I have endless memories of Andrew as a best friend, fiance and father. I am consumed by memories, conversations, experiences, and the bond we shared. There is a huge hole in my heart and void in my life without him but I am forever grateful for each and every moment we had. I hate the way life looks without him but I know where he is surrounded by bliss, love, joy,and peace. No daughter has a dad as wonderful as Andrew was to Emersyn and I'm blessed to have her (a piece of him) for the rest of my life. Andrew was one of the most loved people I have ever met which says  everything about the person be was. He was a light in any room and our home is not the same without him. He will be forever be deeply loved and missed.

I have so many memories of Andrew, it’s hard to choose one. I’d say the one that best demonstrates Andrew’s character is when my daughter, Maddy (his niece) was missing… I called Andrew for help & he was there in less than a minute & searched all night, knocking on doors, yelling her name, until she was found safe & sound. THATS OUR ANDREW, honest & good EVERYDAY, ALL THE TIME. This is a GREAT tragedy but at the same time, I know for certain where he is & im so comforted that he’s gone HOME.. we are not of this world. I’ll catch you on the flip side, little brother. I love you

Drew i haven't seen you in years but we would talk in messages or comment on each other facebook.you were so excited to be a dad  and it showed :) you never forgot to wish me a happy birthday.this is so hard to believe that you're gone :'(  rip drew and give Andy a big hug from me and y'all don't misbehave lol

A cousin is the first friend you have when you’re a kid . Cousins are connected heart to heart , that time and distance can’t part . A cousin is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost . 

This couldn’t be more true ..


Rollerblading , G.I.joes , mortal combat , movies at grandmas in the library , playing board games , going to nanny’s house and playing under the huge magnolia tree. 
These are the memories most precious to me . 
I have memories that could go on forever . 

Andrew was such a beautiful soul , with a big heart who loved  BIG ! He never ended a conversation  or left without saying I love you .
He was someone you gravitated towards  that you just wanted to be around . He lit up the room with his energy  and big smile ! 
And oh how I will miss his laugh.  His laugh was my favorite . He was  a light in this dark world , and anyone was blessed to know him. 

We had some crazy, sometimes wild , but ALWAYS  fun times together !

I will forever miss him walking towards me arms out wide coming in for a hug with a smile and a hey Cuz! He had and will always have a special place in my heart 🩵
