She was a kind and devoted wife and mother. Sudy was the former owner and operator of Liberty Beauty Shop and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Liberty.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, 212 W. Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty, NC. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at Fairview Cemetery in Liberty.
She was the daughter of the late Bill and Irene Staley and was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Crowson; and sisters, Kay Anderson and Judy Hawn.
Sudy is survived by her son, Wesley Crowson; sister, Dianne Kirkman and her husband, Joe; special niece and caregiver, Becky Pugh and many nieces and nephews.
