Paulette was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Wesleyan Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and youth leader. She was a nurse for over 25 years at Burlington Pediatrics and will be most fondly remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty with a graveside funeral service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Sandy Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 4785 Sandy Creek Church Road, Liberty officiated by Rev. Noah Albarez.
She was the daughter of the late Roy and Lula Anna Lawson Booth and was also preceded in death by sisters, Patsy Layton and Sheila Fogleman and brothers, Royce Booth, Bernard Booth, and Keith Booth.
Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Winfred Ray Forbis; sons, Jeffrey Ray Forbis and Carlton Wayne Forbis and his wife, Judy; grandchildren, Jeffrey Ray Forbis, Jr. and wife, Ashley, Jeffrey Michael Forbis, Seth Forbis and Caleb Forbis; great-grandchildren, Paisley Breanne Forbis, Arabella Forbis, and Noah Forbis; step-grandchild, Candy Vincent and her husband, Phillip; and sister, Sammie Johnson.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Kristin Stevenson and her son, Jonah for their compassionate care shown to Paulette during her most trying days.
