A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 11 a.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Michael Barrett; burial will follow in Gilmore Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late Clem & Dora Ingold Coble, and was also preceded in death by her husband William Sherrill York; son L/CPL William Prather York and two Great-Grandchildren, Dylan and Daniel Reavis.

Surviving is her daughter, Sandy Y. Robertson and husband Ron of Pleasant Garden; 2 Grandchildren, Kelly LaMachio and husband, Paul of Greensboro; Jenny Reavis and husband, Mark of Greensboro; Five Great-Grandchildren, Brooke and Abby LaMachio, Alex, Jake and Sophie Reavis; sisters, Rachael Isley and Nancy Coble; brother, William Paul Coble.

The family would like to thank the staff of Clapp’s Nursing Center for their kind and compassionate care shown to Mrs. York.
