Mary Frances Elliott Worsham

Mary was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She retired from Alamance Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse. Anytime one of her children were going on vacation she would love to go along. A few of her favorite pastimes were reading, playing games with her grandchildren and to sit and watch the birds and the squirrels.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3572 West Greensboro Chapel Hill Road, Liberty, NC and other times at the home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church; burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her father, Elmer Matthew Elliott; husband, David Ackles Worsham; son, David Anthony Worsham; and granddaughter, Vicki Stultz.

Mary is survived by her mother, Martha Frances Rierson Elliott; daughters, Diana Phillippie (Tim), Vicki Neese (Richie), Rhonda Gayle Evans, Rhonda Dale Hyler; sons, James Matthew Worsham (Caroline) and Kenneth Gregory Worsham; brother, Kenneth Elliott (Trudy); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Crystal, Richard, Davia, Tiffany, Shane, Richie, Allison, Bradley, Wesley, Matthew, Zach, Anthony, Hallie, Sarah, Austin, Jeremy, Steven, Jennifer, Sylvia, and Barbara; 39 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3572 West Greensboro Chapel Hill Road, Liberty, NC 27298.
