A loving, caring mother, sister and friend for whom God, her loved ones and her country were her highest priorities. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by those she leaves behind.
A private service will be conducted.
She was the daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Gladys Irene Reitzel Allred and was also preceded in death by her husband, John Franklin Smith; granddaughter, Courtney Staley; sister, Beatrice Myers; brothers; Joseph, Boyd, James "Jim", Vance, Carlton, and Clarence, Jr.
Surviving is her daughter, Cathy Duran (Mike); sons, Gary Smith (Sallie) and Mark Smith (Jodie); sister, Sue Ekas (Ron); brother, Travis Allred; grandchildren, Lyndsay Semchenko, Laine Cockerham, John Macon Smith, Jessica Branch, Morgan Causey, Joseph Duran, Whitney Wilson, Jordan Smith, Connor Smith; great-grandchildren, Valory, Ruby and Rose Semchenko, Ellery Smith, Skylie Thomas, Alex, Briggs, Banks and Anderson Branch, Kenna, Emmie, and Maisie Causey, Wyatt Wilson and Renley Smith.
The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to Rena and Jamie for their loving care for Marie during her illness.
