A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service.
Kelvin was the son of the late Carol Vick Carriker, Sr. and Juanita Efrid Carriker.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 39 years, Cynthia Stout Carriker; brother, Carol Vick Carriker, Jr. (Wendy); brother-in-law, William Samuel Stout; nieces, Melanie Carriker and Megan Carriker (Alex Daidone); and great-nephews, Leo Daidone and Felix Daidone.
Kelvin was employed with Food Lion Grocery Store for 45 years, beginning as a bag boy and retiring in 2017 as a Project Manager. He had a great personality and was well respected by his coworkers and peers.
Kelvin enjoyed spending his time outdoors, camping, tending to his yard, going to farm shows like the Thresher’s Reunion and walking his dog, Max. He will be missed by many.
