A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, October 23, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty.
He was the son of the late Thomas and Hazel Amick Brown and was also preceded in death by by his wife, Fanneline Kivett Brown; sister, Mary Willis Robertson; and brothers, Leonard Amick Brown and Richard Carmen Brown.
Marvin is survived by his daughter, Audrey B. Tillinghast; son, Wayne T. Brown; grandchildren, Melanie Terrell, Stacy Staley, Christa Evans, Amber Long, Joshua Brown and Jessica Summerfield; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
