Franklin David Tilley

David was born in Lawsonville, North Carolina, and later moved to Liberty, North Carolina. He worked for C. J. Kern Contractor and Milton S. Kern & Company for over 40 years in commercial construction where he was known as “Tilley”.

He is survived by the true love of his life, wife of 52 years, Joyce Tilley; son David Tilley (Christi); daughter Donna Morrow (Allen); and Paw-Paw’s three best buddies, Ethan Morrow, Austin Morrow, and Hunter Tilley. David is also survived by his sister, Annabelle Marion.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 2pm at Whites Memorial Baptist Church in Franklinville, North Carolina with the Reverend Jeff Joyce officiating. Burial will follow in the Gilmore Memorial Park in Julian, North Carolina. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 6pm-9pm at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty, North Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Whites Memorial Baptist Church, Timmy Parrish Family Life Center Fund, 2930 Whites Memorial Road, Franklinville, North Carolina 27248.
