Shannon Jeanette Miller was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 12, 1968, to Larry Thomas Patton and Violet Jeanette Patton. Shannon was raised and lived as a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her faith was deeply rooted and she always found comfort in knowing that families are forever through the Plan of Salvation.
Shannon married Gary Russell Miller on August 19, 1988, in the Denver, Colorado Temple. Shortly after their nuptials they started their family, and Shannon brought four children into the world: Brittany, Brett, Bree, and Bayleigh. Family was the most important thing to Shannon next to her faith in Christ.
Shannon was a Sizzlen Stamping Queen and used her creativity to brighten people's day with hand crafted paper cards. As a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator for more than 25 years, she never went long without sending a hand crafted card, a heartfelt and thoughtful gift, or helping someone solve problems from 500+ miles away.
Shannon will be deeply missed by all that knew her and got to experience her radiant smile, positive attitude, and faith led spirit. She was a woman of God who has been called back home. She is preceded in death by her mother, Violet Jeanette Patton, and her sister, Kendra DeLynn Patton.
She will be missed by her loving husband, Gary Russell Miller; her father, Larry Thomas Patton; her children, Brittany Jeanette Miller (Mitch), Brett Russell Miller, Bree Ann Archer (John), and Bayleigh Marie Miller (Justin); her grandchildren, Lily Jeanette Miller, McKinlee Rose Potter, Miller Vance Potter, Jaycie Leigh Buckman, and Zola Rose Miller; her sisters, Tracy Renae Hirrlinger and Tiffany Renelle Patton; and her brother, Shayne Thomas Patton.
