Kenneth Eugene Pendergrass

Kenneth Eugene Pendergrass, age 85, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Tuesday June 12, 2018. Kenneth was born August 11, 1932 in Crane, Missouri to parents Clarence and Cora Pendergrass. Kenneth was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following his time in the military, he moved to Aurora, Missouri and worked for the Juvenile Shoe Company. In 1965, Kenneth moved to Kansas City, Missouri and went to work for Kenworth. Upon retirement, Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his family.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ethel Pendergrass; three brothers, Roy, Don, and Lloyd Pendergrass. He is survived by his companion Mabel Wiles; his brothers, Terry and Jerry (Mary) Pendergrass; his children, Eric (Sonia) Pendergrass, Linda (Mike) Henson, Eugene (Linda) Pendergrass, and Rick (Jennifer) Pendergrass; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted in Kenneth's honor on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM with a visitation held the night before, Friday, June 15, 2018 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Both visitation and service will be held at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home, 119 East Franklin Street, Liberty, Missouri 64068.
