Gary W Spivey

Gary Spivey, 56, of Liberty, died Tuesday evening, October 1, 2019, at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, Oxford, Ohio. Gary was born in Fayette County, Kentucky to Arlin and Cora McKinney Spivey on September 8, 1963 and attended Connersville area schools. For several years, he and his brother owned and operated S & S Floor Covering in Connersville. He had also been employed at Ford Electronics in Connersville. Gary was a collector of coins and was an accomplished carpenter. He enjoyed bonfires and the company of his dog, Maxine. Gary is survived by his daughter: Charity Davis; his grandson: Xavier; his siblings and their spouses: Bob Sams and Bonnie of Connersville, Deb Cook and Paul of Carmel, Michael Sams and his fiancé, Belinda Bolton of Laurel, Arlin Spivey and Amy of Liberty; nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Cheryl Reece. There will be no public funeral services for Gary following cremation.
