Thomas M. Neal Jr.

During adulthood, Thomas attended the South Carolina Police Academy. He also opened Depot Building Supply in 1979 on Gervais Street, then he branched out and opened several more locations. Thomas was in sales at Kimbrell's furniture, a constable for Lancaster, SC, a Magistrate, and a Probation Parole Officer. Finally, he became a bailiff at the courthouse in Lexington, SC, retiring in late 2020. Thomas married the love of his life, Gloria S. Neal on August 22, 1958. Thomas loved the mountains and traveled all over the east coast, visiting each mountain on the way.

He is survived by his children, Thomas M. Neal The Third (Betsy Couch), David Bryan Neal (Gay Turner) and Lisa Neal Baker (Mark Baker); and his wife of 64 years, Gloria S. Neal.

Thomas was predeceased by his son, Mitchell F. Neal (Doris Troutman).

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Lexington Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Lexington Baptist Church.
