Born in Lexington, SC, he was the son of the late Lorenzo and Geneva Keisler. He was a member of the Central Church of the Nazarene; he loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He especially loved it when gardening season would come around and he could sit outside and watch the vegetables grow.
He is survived by his daughters, Jeanette Haase of West Columbia and Christine (John) Tyson of Gilbert; his son, Kelvin (Trish) Keisler of Lexington; brother, Charles Keisler (Ruby); sisters, Doris Roof, Janice Counts and Gloria (Jack) Clingan; grandchildren, Alicia Arnold, Jordan Tyson, Sara Corder, John Tyson II, Nathan Keisler and Amelia Keisler; great grandchildren, Emily Corder, Ariana Corder, Adam Arnold, Jacob Anold, Cynphani Lyons and Journey Tyson. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Gladys Keisler and his oldest daughter, Lorraine (Mark) Button.
There will be a private graveside service at Lexington Memorial Cemetery for immediate family only due to Covid-19. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Church of the Nazarene, 100 S. Woodside Parkway, West Columbia, SC 29170.
