Margaret Gladys Wilde, 98, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. She was born December 9, 1922 in Spartanburg, SC and was the daughter of the late Margaret Heldman McAlpin and Baxter McAlpin.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca H. Kenneally; two grandchildren, Jennifer Loveday (Randy) and Russell Daniels (Katrina) and one great-grandchild, Gabi Daniels, all of Columbia, SC; a stepson, Richard Wilde (Doris) of Panama and two step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, James Wilde.
Mrs. Wilde was a resident of Village at Southlake in Lexington for almost 14 years. Prior to that, she lived with her husband in Winter Park, Florida, where she had a long and successful career in real estate.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
