LEXINGTON - Linda Watson Melton, 69, passed away peacefully at her home on September 23, 2017 surrounded by her family. Born December 12, 1947 she was the daughter of Fred and Helen Watson. She loved her Lexington Community, reading, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John "Bill" Melton. She is survived by her children, Angela Rawl (Tripp), Jill Howard (Chip) and John Melton (Jayme); her grandchildren, Chelsea Melton, Laken and Brennen Smith, Colton Howard, Carson Melton, Tucker and Riley Knight; great-grandson, Talon Brown; brother, Phil Watson (Sabrina) and sister, Dr. Susan D. Watson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
