Kathryn K. Pack

Kathryn Kinard Pack, 66, of Columbia, passed away in Houston, TX on Tuesday, August, 29, 2023, with her family by her side. She is now pain free of cancer and rejoicing with the Lord. She was born to the late Anita and Leighton Kinard, January 15, 1957, in Columbia, South Carolina.

Kathy was the oldest of four children. She was predeceased by her brothers, Keith and Kyle. Kathy is survived by her brother, Kris. She graduated from Columbia College and The University of South Carolina where she received a Master’s Degree in Education. She spent 41 years teaching Middle and High School Mathematics in Lexington and Newberry Counties. She was married to the love of her life, Carroll Pack, in 1984. Kathryn loved to travel and spend time with her family. She was able to take her bucket list trip to Alaska in April right before her cancer diagnosis.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Carroll, and three children: Joshua, Caleb and Katelyn. She is also survived by her stepson, Chris. She leaves behind six grandchildren: Kathryn, Shepard, Collins, Fletcher, Cannon and Brayden, who were her entire life.

A celebration of life will be held for Kathryn at 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel located at 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072 with a visitation one hour prior at the funeral home.
