Joe White Jr.

COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Joe White, Jr., 67, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with interment in Bush River Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 at the funeral home chapel in Lexington.

Mr. White was born August 16, 1946 in Manchester, KY and passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. He was a son of the late Joe and Bernice Gross White. He was a member of Salley Baptist Church. An Avid NASCAR and Earnhardt fan, he loved the Gamecocks.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn; daughters, Robbie White-Morris (Richard) of Irmo, Paulette Adkins (Chris) of Columbia and Melinda White of Columbia; sister, Elizabeth Hutto of Columbia; brother, Larry White of Benton, KY; sister, Hazel White of Columbia; brother, Earl White of Manchester, KY; sister, Geneva Holland of Hartselle, AL; brothers, Carlisle White of Manchester, KY, Letch White of Jasper, AL and Paul White of Manchester, KY and sisters, Vesta Owens of Cassat, SC and Vada Morris of Camden, SC, brothers, Ricky White of Morgantown, KY and Russell and Ralph White of Manchester, KY and Darrell White of Benton, KY; 25 nieces and nephews and grandchildren, Kirstyne, Amber, Austin, Zackary and Dominick. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Elmer White.
