Felix was born to Ella Winiki Krszenbaum and Guido Kirszenbaum of Ruca Malen, Argentina in 1940. He went on to attend the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Berlin where he studied languages before serving in the US Military stationed at Fort Jackson. After his discharge from the Army, he became an American citizen and married Linda Corley of Lexington, SC in 1965. He was a Co-Owner and Operator of Corley Brothers Lumber Company and took immense pride in the design and construction of decks, docks and playground structures. He also worked for the Columbia Housing Authority and, after retirement, he found great joy working as an interpreter for court systems across South Carolina. In addition, he loved his time volunteering with The Lexington County Juvenile Arbitration Program working with Hispanic students. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, and he enjoyed classical music, opera and chess. He was a voracious reader with an intense love of learning and enjoyed having discussions with valued friends. He had a ridiculously dry sense of humor, up until the very end of his life. He loved his family dearly, and was immensely proud of his children and grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Noelle Kirszenbaum Kim and son-in-law, Michael Tracey Holley. He is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Linda Corley Kirszenbaum; his daughter, Britt Holley Collins (Jeff); his former son-in-law, Matt Kim and grandchildren, Jacob Holley, Lindsay Holley, Corley Collins, Lola Kim and Matilda Kim.
A graveside service will be held for immediate family only.
