LEXINGTON – Eileen C. Fowler, 81, beloved wife of sixty years to Albert “Bud” Fowler passed away at home in the arms of her husband on Saturday, November 5, 2011. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with burial in Woodridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
Mrs. Fowler was born in Cleveland, OH to the late William and Angela Baker. Before her retirement, she was an X-Ray technician at Severence Radiology. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a classy lady who had a special way of gaining the affection of others from the beginning. Mrs. Fowler was a member of Corpus Christi Senior Group (CGA) and also the VFW Post 6740 Ladies Auxiliary and a volunteer at the Dorn VA Medical Center.
Mrs. Fowler is survived by her husband, Albert Fowler; daughter, Lynn Marie (Karl) Kramp; sons, Timothy (Therese) Fowler, Michael, David, Edward (Cathy) and Brian Fowler; sister, Dorothy Burke; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and forty-four nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Edna Neuhoff, Laura Wolf, Geraldine Olgiate, Phyllis Williamson and her parents. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
